  16. Tracking the depth of your balls with your sonar will give you a false reading. Because your ball might be 60 feet from your transducer but it’s blown back 20 feet behind the boat. So the distance to the ball from the transducer is 60 feet but the actual depth of the ball is a lot less. It is somewhere in the 50 to 55 foot range.   18. I have 2 on my big boat a garmin and a lorance, the lorance has a chip with contours I use it more. My 17 foot boat has a hummingbird helix 5 with a chip it also works very good. But I also have the avitonic app. On a iPad with a bad elf receiver that I use on both boats and in my RZR. I like it the best. The contours are more accurate. The app is 10 bucks and the bad elf GPS receiver is 149 bucks. They are all pretty good depends on how much you want to see. That’s my 2 cents. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  24. I mounted my reels on the hard top and the pulleys on the top of the guide rail out front. Works great.
  25. I have luck on spoons for browns in the spring also. I run about half sticks and half spoons until I see what they want.
