  4. Gambler is correct. It's a supply and demand. There is no supply and still a demand. I stand corrected, I thought the price was way high. I did some research and stand corrected. Your price is less than half of what they have sold for. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. center pins are great, I love mine, in fact its about all ill use for steelhead river fishing. but you have to be on top of your game. they don't have a drag and there not idiot proof. I would suggest a really long rod, mine is 11.5 foot. I also use only 8Lb. line and 6 Lb. tippet. you really have to fight the fish well, not a lot of room for error. if the water is stained ill go up to 10 Lb line but usually no larger than that as the fish can see the line. if its super clear ill go to 4 Lb tippet.
  6. I couldn't find any on eBay today. but id did find some that sold awhile ago and he's not ****ting some one payed 190.00 for 1. I might have to see if I can locate them, (haven't used them in years) lol. Good luck with your sale.

  8. There's an app. Called dipsy Troller that I use. You plug in you dipsy size, trolling speed, dipsy setting, line your running it on and it will tell you how much line to let out to reach the depth you want to reach. I've used it for 2 years and it's really close. If I'm in 100 FOW and I use it to get my dipsy down 100 ft I'll be ticking bottom. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  9. I run 2 different sizes off the same side of the boat. I run a # 3 magnum on a 1.5 setting (its heaver and pulls harder) then I run a #1 with ring on a 3.0 setting off the same side.

  13. How much less? I'm very interested in your boat. It's almost exactly what I've been looking for. I'd prefer dual outboards but that is the boat. I'd probably re-power it in a few years and upgrade to dual. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  16. You probably just condemned them to a life time of enjoying the outdoors, spending countless thousands on fishing equipment, cabin fever every February and march for the rest of there lives. The greatest gift a person can give or receive. Way to go. I'm so glad I was given this gift when I was young. [emoji4][emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  21. Nice fish. My Dad and I have fished for them for years, he catches 1 or 2 every time we go out. I've only caught about 25 or so I my life over 30". My best was 45". Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  22. Most are about the same if your spending the same money. In other words, you pretty much get what you pay for. I'm not saying you need to spend the kids collage fund to buy reels, hell most of mine are a mix match I have several different kinds and I find if you take care of your equipment it will last a good while. I do reel maintenance to mine 2X a year during season and again in the off season. Some of my equipment is 20 years old or better. But it works flawlessly or it gets replaced. Most guys I know get there equipment out 3 days before they plan to use it and find all sorts of things wrong with it and blame the manufacture. I suggest a little more preventive maintenance. Goes a long way. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
