Crazy, I thought I was asking too much.  Put it on Craigslist and I had 14 people call today by the time I got home from Erie Walleye.  First person showed up bought it for asking price before I was even done cleaning today’s fish.

Yep, it was soda blasted, Etch primed and painted with Sherwin Willams auto single stage paint.  For my first time with a spray gun, turned out pretty well!

2005 Starcraft Starfire 17’6” boat with 2005 Mercury 25hp 2stroke (stickers as a 20hp for our limited lakes) Boat was used in southern PA on our smaller lakes so no leaky rivets and busted up hull.  Has had the 25 since new according to the previous owner.

I bought the boat in case my Starcraft restoration didn’t go well, didn’t want to be boat less.  Now that my other boat is done, I’m ready to get rid of it.

Comes with bow mount trolling motor, new battery, spare prop, 2 spare tires, older Lowrance Fishfinder and cover.

Boat has been garage kept since new and had a trailerable cover to keep things secure on road trips.

Very wide and deep 17 1/2’ boat.  Rides like a much bigger hull.  Tons of storage

Finally done and maiden voyage in the books!  Fished the past few days out of Erie, PA without issue.  So glad for it to be finally over.  Very pleased with the results.

Wonderful to read reports like this.  I never fish that deep mainly because I’ve never tried.  How did you know to present your baits that deep?  Marks on the graph, temps, guessing?  These fish are addictive and I always try to learn from posts like these.  Thank you so much

Sure was fun this morning.  We did pretty well, slightly west of Olcott in 140-180.  Mostly spoons, Carbon 14 as well was hot this morning.

This evening has been even better.  110-150fow.  Everyone disappeared too early!

i put an old Johnson 130 on and can’t wait to try it out..

Been working on an old Starcraft Mariner for the last few months.  Finally close to getting splashed.  Boat was cheap, thought I could restore for cheap, jokes on me!  Once things got started, I thought let’s just do it right and take some time.  Once it’s done, I’ll post all the pics and info about what was done.

2006 Mercury 25hp 4stroke longshaft Tiller.   Very very nice condition.  Unknown hours, but can’t be that many.  Was going to use it as a kicker for my Starcraft project but going to try and find a smaller motor.  Would be interested in a partial trade, but it needs to be a Johnson 8/9.9/15hp.

Comes with motor stand, new Mercury oil filter, new Mercury fuel line, primer bulb and fuel tank.

Smokercraft lists a 18’10” Ultima Pro Mag for 2010.  Also, is that Yammy really a 2010 or is that a typo?  From the cover, it looks early 2000’s.
