  8. Just got my 40 Johnson back from moores in ten days. They did a real nice job for a pretty penny. My buddy's had work done from them as well and the work has lasted years. Good luck Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. I meant a very large % of them have been touched and haven't cleared the ladder on their own free will. This has made fishing rather tough compared to other years when fish could hurdle the ladder for a few days before opening... Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  14. If you want to catch Lakers a wire dipsy setup with a Dodger and a flasher fly is unbeatable in my opinion. I prefer to run a chinook diver that dives quicker and has less resistance when retrieved vs. A dipsy. I run 2 chinooks at all time with all other rods focused on other species. This technique usually keeps me occupied with Lakers while trying to mix up the catch. Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. I run them straight back, however they do better when choppy out which your probably trying to avoid. I tye me own but I know a guy who takes orders. I'll ask if I can share his # with you. Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. I'll say it again, tandem flies ran way back. 200 +. Topwater rapalas can be hot too! I'll be fishing all winter and be sure to report. Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  18. If the song doesn't work you can always take a leak or try to eat a sandwich! This technique works great for kings, especially in 4 footers;) Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Hell ya! Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. I was referring to the angle of your downrigger cable, obviously this varies depending on how heavy your weight is. I run 8.5's. The point I was getting at is if their straight down go faster. If your getting good Marks play with your speed until you get them figured out. Lyk2fish makes a great point about paying attention to which rod fires on the turn. 21. Watch the angle on your riggers, should be a ways back. Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Nice report Doc, maybe speed it up? 2 at the ball takes all! Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  24. Sorry I missed you! Ask for kees the vineyard manager next time, always got time to talk fish! My favorite flx Dodger Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. Try a Dodger with a hammerfly down deep on your rigger, that will get it to move! Sk8's right about pam's and wagners but if you come down to boundary breaks maybe I'll throw ya another tip;) Sent from my SM-G950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
