    I did nautilex with the reviews that said it wasn't slippery when wet.... If you attack rods then you will be on your butt quick. I ended up putting a piece of cut carpet over the dance floor and it works out perfect. Vinyl is easy to clean and carpet removes easily. Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    We are lucky to have the fisheries we do here, even just the two great lakes. Me personally, I'm a rookie on them both. I spent ALOT of time reading, watching, asking and listening, and still have novels of info to learn. I don't want to boast or sound like a know it all, but this past year was the first full season with my boat. I can honestly say that I had a fantastic year ! Caught hundreds of kings, browns, walleyes, steelies and even tagged a musky in the boat harbor. Persistence. Ask questions here, but do your part in research prior. I'm certain there's prob a few tips out there that will turn your catch rate around. Don't let the boat slow you down. Plenty of calm days out there and plenty of fish to be caught in the skinny water. Take a charter, Google, YouTube, ask here, ask there. Stay with it and you will fill the boat with scales and slime.     Dang. Was hoping to see you grab that Nymph ! For the money, the sea nymph GLS is prob one of the best value boats out there. If you keep an eye out you should be able to find another in that price range. I have the open bow but can tell you she's a fishing machine and has a hull that can and will get you out of the snot when it creeps up on u, cause we all know it happens. As far as the basics of boat shopping, all the standard look at stuff....motor / compression, transom, rivets, trailer, stringers if there, wiring, etc. I'm not the expert here but there's plenty of great guys on here with a wealth of knowledge that can help you with your shopping.     LOU friends. On another forum I belong to we have the " live from the woods" and " live from the water" threads. It's basically meant to be short updates / pics from those actually out in the respective areas. I was wondering if the mods would agree we should have a "live from Olcott / Wilson / the bar / etc" There's still the valuable, longer and more descriptive report posts but this is always a quick and easy way to throw up what's going on, live.
