Looking to see if there's any interest in this. I no longer tie or fly fish so I'm cleaning it out. This bench was hand made. It's 21" long X 15" deep. I'll include the vise, bobbin, and all the other little tools and gear. Some feathers, fur, string,cork popper heads etc included. I'm slowly trying to build my trolling gear and could be interested in trades. I'd hope for local pickup around buffalo but will ship if needed. Make me a reasonable offer !

+1 on the wicked. I bought the headlamp for scanning. Love the dim and flood options. There are haters but it's a great kit out of the box, from a reputable manufacture.

Following this thread too. I'll be there late June as well. I'll be setup to troll, but I'll also be jigging with the kids. I was just planning to run some stick baits along with harnesses and see what the fish like....

The only downside of the "bolts" is that half the boat has to come off to get to them.... I have some time, but not alot of time unless I want to be in the garage instead of on the lake. I may do the diy but I want to explore some repair shops first. And yes, great advice on the camera !!!

I did search and didn't really see anything recent, or close by. My transom "seems" ok with doing the basic diagnostics. I'm prepared to start investing some serious time and money into my new found addiction but I want to make sure I don't screw up by forgetting a main component in floating. I'm in the buffalo area and just looking for recommendations of someone who's done or knows somebody who's got a replacement done. I'm half tempted to do it myself but I'm no expert and would rather not rely on YouTube training for this one. Boats a sea nymph 195 GLS aluminum. Tia

Took a rookie friend out last night. Was able to get eyes and a shot for him, but it was a miss. Awesome hunt though, had the dog hang the timber for prob 5 minutes before committing to the the field edge. Snow came in and shut us down early. I'm shooting next time...lol

Thank goodness for cameras. I think with cell phones all having cameras it drastically increases the ability to catch and release and not have to tell "fish tales". Not that any of us would ever tell tales, but it's great you can have that memory and share that memory forever...

I'd love to hunt with a dog ! I watch those vids in amazement. Unreal actually when u consider that if ur chair squeaks in the slightest bit the dogs are gone where these guys could prob do jumping jacks and the Yotes would keep running with the decoy dogs.

I actually have an isolator from a previous life when I liked my car to shake with my stereo...don't judge.... It's a PAC-200. It's not a marine specific so will it work (secured out of weather) or do I get a marine grade ?

Good info. Was thinking the same question and was prepared to buy a deep cycle/marine just cause. I think I'll do what pap recommends. One 31 starting bat. What about for a trolling setup that's 24v ? I assume it's best to do 2 12v deep cycle and charge them with appropriate charger ? Any specific reason to pick a certain group size ?

Nothing bad to say. Solid round, good manufacturer. Not sure on the trigger, but if you not picky I'll bet she will pile fur for you. Me personally i can't go back to a bolt after running a semi... Follow ups are needed and it's nice to stay on the gun and pull. That one time u regret taking the bolt is enough for me !
