I agree with fishnut to an extent. Yes, mouth calls are one off and unique for sure. They can be a pain to blow on for 45 min though ( typical coyote stand time for me ). The FoxPro has prob 40-50ish sounds I typically use and some situations call for it like the educated dogs scenarios. I also use "fox pitch" ALOT. This changes the tone of any call, a feature I doubt alot of guys use. Plus, your getting fox calls, yote calls and crow calls all in one push of a button and you don't feel winded after a long stand. Just my .02

Pap. I have the shockwave. Went through a bunch of calls prior, all FoxPro up the line. Hands down the shockwave is where it's at. The main seller is the remote. The tx1000 is only available on the fusion or the shockwave. Always a big arguement with guys on which unit is better though. Fusion is Def loud with less bulk but has a speaker facing each direction. Shockwave has the movable speakers which I change up for each stand. I also do crows, and the shockwave Def screams em in. No prob getting loud ! If you got the fusion you may have some minor regrets but if you can get over the bulk of the shockwave it's the way to go. As far as the alpha dog, my friend has one. I had him show me some common calls, yote vocals, pup distress, rabbit etc. I was not impressed at the sound quality as far as realism is concerned. I'm sure the primos will call in some fur, and some crows but I think FoxPro has the E-caller market cornered. You may save some money but you won't get anywhere near the unit compared to the FoxPro. I recommend you find somebody close to you with the unit your looking to buy and give it a test drive first. Just don't do what I did.... Had a spit fire, then went a step up, then another, then finally man'd up and got the shockwave.... Wallet was flat but I was finally satisfied with my caller.

Got my chart yesterday. Included at no charge was a real nice canvas cover and unit also had a tempered screen protector on it. Was pleased before, even more now !

I'm already in to a bunch of new crap I didn't need just cause it was a steal.... Deals are harder to find this year than last year though.

To add to the halo, the advice I was given a long time ago was the bottom is the most important part to keep the eyes in till you switch to kill light because the critters can't see you but they can pick up shadows from your light moving, keeping it above them limits the shadows that will be in front of them (the way they are looking).

Todd - thanks for the info. Do you think chips are far superior, or a worthwhile investment over factory maps? I know there is a feature that I can plot and save my own readings but as a rookie I'd rather spend my time learning my gear and getting on fish than monkeying with the chart. I think if I sit there and poke around I'll be like the people you see out to eat at a restaurant jamming on their phones all night or the folks that text and walking into walls.
