Was able to prefish the 19th for the upcoming tournament and was lucky enough to locate some mature fish. Saturday fished 400 to 500 fow. Ran 2 riggers, slide divers high outside and wire divers inside. 10 color and a 300 copper off boards. Meat rigs, f/f, and spoons Slide diver with purple spoon down 35 was hot early. Fairly steady bite with steelhead, and 12 to 17 lb kings, after we had 4 fish, started releasing fish trying to upgrade. Started going deeper with the spread as the sun got higher. Mixed in a 7 color leadcore with spoon when things slowed a little and it took one hit, our 2nd biggest. Added a couple more 16 to 17 lb kings. Rigger down 60 took our biggest fish. All rods took hits but mostly a spoon bite. Purple spoons, green spoons best, with a mag NBK being noteworthy. Squeezed out a 2nd place finish in the tournament. I can do it either way. Skin mount or Replica. This particular fish was caught in Montana and several pictures made the paint job easier to produce authenticity to this fish. Since fish lose color when they die, it is great if the client can provide pictures of when the fish is alive. For a replica this is really important, along with length, weight and girth. With more people practicing catch and release, Replicas are gaining popularity, but they are pricier. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

If you look back on the history of pandemics, it is always the second surge that is the deadliest. Reopening too soon could see this explode into something really out of control. It also could put our health care system in grave danger. I6 For those who think Sweden has handled it well by not shutting down, this is completely false. They have the most deaths per capita of any of the Scandinavian countries. No one likes the situation we are in. We just have to deal with it and not contribute to the problem. I am self employed so I am suffering financially like a lot of you. If you think by reopening businesses, things will be back to normal, thats not going to happen. Life as we knew it will not be the same for a long time. A lot of businesses in European countries that have reopened have very, very few customers. People are afraid to go out. Accurate tests and a cure/vaccine are the only things that will get us back to any semblance of normality. My hat is off to our healthcare people and first responders who are in the thick of battle. I have a 36 volt motorguide xi5 that I use in conjunction with a merc 9.9 kicker on a 19 ft deep vee.. Propulsion with the kicker and steering with the motorguide. Usually get about 8 hrs. Have 3 bank on board charger which will charge batteries overnight. Set heading lock and good to go. Tied into my Lowrance Carbon you can travel a predetermined course or set cooordinates or waypoints to go to. This set up works great in waves up to about 3 feet. Anything bigger than that you shouldnt be out in a 19 ft boat anyway. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I recently did a brown trout mount for a client that wanted to make his own base. He is a pipeline welder and made this base completely from metal. All cut and burnished with a torch. In 30 years of doing taxidermy I've never seen anything like it. It is so unique I thought I would share a picture. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Schwartz, the policy with boat US that paid your claim wasn't a tow policy was it. That had to be your regular coverage policy. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Not sure of what heading to put this under, but anyone have any dealings with Boat US. I see they offer assistance if you break down on the water and even have coverage for trailer break down and tow vehicle break down. Looks like price is pretty decent. I trailer a lot for long distances and this could be well worth it if they are any good. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
