  1. Not the fault of the boat. Anyone who drinks and pilots any water craft is also stupid.
  2. all passengers on one corner, flipping a pontoon? you can't fix stupid!! lol
  3. One nice thing about pontoon boats with an outboard, generally pretty near impossible to sink unless a catastrophic puncture of both tubes. Of course still vulnerable to hail damage, and they have their own limitations. Still, we sold our 23' ProSport and got a pontoon... last year...no regrets! It's perfect for an old guy on Champlain, our usual stomping grounds.
  4. Quite an ambitious project, nice work!! I rebuilt an 18' Starcraft cutty cabin once and it was maybe easier that this one! You'll have a great little boat when done!
  5. Please eMail me Direct if interested: firesweep "at" Verizon "dot" net thnx, Roger
  6. Hi: I have a prop in good shape from an Evinrude 70hp, will check on the pitch and diameter if you're interested, let me know. Roger
  7. Have a 12' MirroCraft no motor no trlr, but it's in Colchester VT. $325.
  8. Like the color! I had a '76 Chieftain once , same great hull, less deep V than an Islander and easier to plane with less motor, ours had a '76 90hp E-rude on it. GLWS.
  9. What year is this boat?
  10. I believe the Tracker is 2 stroke?
  11. Pics and googlemaps link please...
  12. Tragic... they have the best product on the market in my opinion. Until the late' 90s OMC Evinrude + Johnson had more of the market than anyone and Evinrude essentially invented the practical outboard (not the Waterman). What a shame. I'll own Evinrudes and Johnsons until I'm in the grave I'm 70 so not that many years, hopefully can get parts LOL! Still. what a terrible end to a great legacy!
  13. Hi: unfortunately I'm unable to drive for the foreseeable time due to severe polymyalgia, but I'm looking for a motor to put on a 16' aluminum boat project we hope to do someday... at 70 there aren't as many "somedays" as there used to be! We do have a son in Cortland just S of Syracuse on I-81, and my wife could still "sort-of" drive to there (vision problems) if that would be a possibility.
  14. I'd be interested if you'd ever be able to get it to Binghamton area.

  23. 1 Hr. from the bridge from NY to VT at Rouse's Point, E of Potsdam on Rt 11, to the Champlain Islands and S to Colchester.
