Boats all good. Quick fix at the dock. Batteries and corrosion happens Just screwed me up for the shotout. Screens full of fish down 100 in 160 At first light and coupdnt get to them we fished this evening 6pm to 8:30. 2/2 one 8lb steel and 7lb king on spoons on dipseys 220 back. Back at the dunes at first light tomarrow

Was also out from the dunes this morning Went 4/5 nothin over 7lb. Had a bad battery in the new boat and it caused a whole lotta havoc! No riggers. Then no electronics. Then finally lost starboard engine and that was enough. I stuck it out cause I was in the shootout. Fished 160 and screen was loaded with marks. All fish came on junk lines one on meat rest were spoons. Heading back out now.

I’ll be headin up tomarrow night as well to fish all day Saturday and Sunday morning. I’ll b posting as I go. Really hope I can get a full weekend in with the new rig. Last few weekends have only been a few hrs of actually fishing, while tryin to rig up the new boat.

Nice work, and report. Some nice fish to catch while running solo. I could never run solo but now I have AP so I’m gonna have to try as well. I just get worried i would have a firedrill and rods fireing 3-4 at a time.

Yea i need a bigger one also. Im lookin to fillet my fish on it. 20in would probly be more for trimmin bait or something like that

Me to. Lol. The previous owner of my boat had a home made cleanin board and it was awesome. Gonna have to result to makin one I think.

Great. Guys asked how the lake was When I lleft and went to Woodys and I said good waves were 1-2footers. Guy next to me said yea in ur dreams. More like 2-4 with occasional 6’s. Definitely didnt seem That way to me but if I was in my trophy I would have went in. Lake was only bad an hour two.

My god it is a dream!!?? absolutly incredible. Pretty snotie out here but definitely fishboe in a boat like this. Autopilot works great can’t believe I fished so long without AP! The fishhawk 100% ganechanger. Got some setup issues to workout but I’Ll figure that out before I go home today.

Slow bite this far, but didn’t get rods in untill 7:30. My phobe died last night so told the wife to set the alarms for 4:30. Well I got wokin up by my dog lickin my face at 6:30 1/1 so far 7lb ish king on white meat rig on dipsey out 180 setting 2. I’m a little handicap using only one rigger two dipseys two coppers. I’m out infront of hoghrocks. Picked the one up in 200fow. Workin my way in 150Fow now

Took my last trip with my Trophy this evening. Hauled the new boat from Point Breeze to Mexico and got the at 6pm. Had the itch, so left it hooked to the truck and jumped in the old boat. Rods in at 6:30pm and setup in 180Fow Went an hour without a bump, then had a screamer on the deep rigger (blue UV FF) parked at 90. 21lb released it and missed another. Pulled gear at a 7:45 and headed in to start swapping gear to the new boat. Never thought I would spend 2.5hrs and still have a mess in both boats First light I will be out with the new rig. Hopefully I can get the bolts I need to mount the new riggers. If not I’m sure dipseys and junk lines will get it done.

Ok rings a bell now. Spent many evenings with my step dad watchin the westerns.

Thanks guys think the wife is more excited then I am. I checked them sites along with a few others and mag 10’s are on backorder. Looks like I’ll b fishing on the trophy this weekend unless I can pick them up on the haul there

It finally happened. Found the boat Ive been drooling over the past few seasons and picking it up Saturday Morning in point breeze and heading to Mexico! The owner is keeping his 3 riggers as they r brand new and goin on his new boat, but gave me a killer deal as the boat is equipped with everything else. Bein I planned on spending a little more for the boat I have the extra nickels and want to put 3 new riggers on. I like the cannon mag 10’s and want to buy 3 this weekend but every shop in pulaski dont have any in stock. Anyone know if thereS any places along the south shore that would have 3 mag 10’s in stock thanks. mike

I will most definitely keep in touch. I may do a day trip this weekend to Mexico. Haven’t been at my boat in 4 weeks. I’m using the excuse “we had alot of rain and with no shorepower the batteries are weak and need to be ran to charge!
