My wife got an invite to fish a tournament aboard a Baha 280 weekender this weekend In point breeze. Fished 6am to 10:00am Saturday and with the storm coming in and bite dieing off we decided to go in and try to pick it back up this morning. Went 10-14ish in the first two hrs. Mainly a spoon bite but meat was also producing on junk lines and Riggers. Great trip.Captain Jay learned me alot. Always nice to see how someone else runs there gear and realized I need to make a few changes. Now I have two issues. The wife if leaning me towards Buying a 31ft Baha instead of the 28ft and she really liked the port and is thinkin of maybe changing things up for next year.

Thats awesome. How much does a trip like that cost? I’ve been wanting to do a tuna trip for as long as I can remember also. Even considered sellin my salmon gear and boat and start tuna fishing. Lol. I could eat fresh Tuna everyday. Great trip.

I will be fishing out of oak orchard this weekend, any possibility this sale will go on this weekend also? here goes another paycheck for fishing gear.

Sorry to hear work hasn’t picked up Jake, and ur sellin that awesome rigger. If I didnt have so much goin on with Building the garage and Savin up for a new boat I would be all over that. Fishin is pickin up in mexico. We will have to plan another trip. Good luck with the sale.

Just got back home. Unfortunately I had to cut my weekend trip short and stayed out till 2:00 then drove home. After blank screens out deep I worked in 100-120FOW and finally moved some rods. One laker on a White meat rig and dropped another laker At the boat on spoon behind cowbells. Had two good screamer hits on FF on the dipseys but dropped them both. Awesome day couldnt ask for better weather.

I went put to 240 and it was a ghost town. In 110 now and havin marks here and there in the 70-80fow.

Still no action. Packed up and moved into 120 and starting to mark a few here and there. Today was Hachimo’s (aka Mr. Beans) first trip on the boat to Lake Ontario. Looks like I got a new fishing Partner!!
