Don’t thNk me. Thank the fella that posted the “Free Net” last week. I seen that and thought of some of the gear I picked up when I first started for next to nothing. Just had to wait till I got back up on the boat and go trou some of the stuff thats way back in the cuddy that never see’s daylight. Lol

10-12 years ago I hated that guy in the mirror. I lost alot of years of My life becouse of him. Now adays I respect that guy and no longer hate him. Sleepin at night is definitely much easier now after a hard days work.

I decided to break the spoons up into two lots, this way I can maybe help two guys out. Got a bunch pm’s and A couple seemed pretty sincere in bein in the situation I was in when I first started. I‘ll get them sent out. Hope ya fellas get them wet.

I seen your boat and camp opened up when I was coming in. I was on my way over to see how you are doin And if you been out, but the wife and I got intercepted by your neighbors and that turned into a 30 min conversation, lost track of time and had to get on the road. come to think of it. We were all social distancing in a circle around a red squirrel. Kinda looked like the party got the best of him.

Wow. Thats awesome. 32# this early in the season. If that fish was caught in late august/ September after fattening up for the run how heavy do you guys think it would weigh? just courious how much weigh they can stack on trough out a summer.

So after bringin all my spoons home from the boat and tryin to organize things the wife said “you need to sell the ones we dont use” i have 30spoons picked out so far that never hit water on my boat. Takin up space and thought maybe someone on a tight budget just starting out would wAnt them to add to a NEW collection. When I started out a few years ago many people helped me, just my way of passing that on. Just wanted to thank you Hookedup for that double you pulled off when I was right next to you! spent all morning washing spoons (3of them NBK’s). Told my buddy thats the guy I’m texting when we got close to ya and ur net comes out And fish hits the deck. Few min later net hits the water again. my buddy looked at me and just shook his head. Lol

No frowning at out of state folks. I stayed at the port lodge hotel last night. Everyone is wearing masks and keepin distance. At least I didnt get any kind of looks or attitudes, but then again I’m supporting a local economy that needs the$$$

Nice work. I was out from 5:30am-11:00. Light east wind and lake was like glass all morning till 10ish. started in 50Fow in front of catfish headed toward plant. I was exchangin info with another member all morning tryin to get even a knock off. Trolled out to 110Fow and back in to 40. Hit 1 6# brown at 70fow down 50 NBk. marked bait and loads of fish in an area 40fow and trolled east to west, west to east, north to south, sideways to backwards over that spot. Pretty much put my spoon box with all the spoons on the lines and couldnt get a bump. Very tight lipped fish thia morning. Talked to 10-12 other boats and all the same. 1-2 maybe 3 fish. ThereS a sayin I’ve been hearin. “Wind from the east, fish bite the least”. (sorry thought your post was from today. What I posted Is from this morning 5-17)

Just got off the water. Finished the morning 6/7 all browns 4-6lb range and go figure the only fish I lost looked like a king 20ft from the boat. I brought a new member Of LOU with me who livea by me and lookin to start fishin the big lake, so figured I’d give him a crash course on a spread and runnin gear. After the rods started firing I think hes hooked

Yup I’m just outside of that mess of boats heading Out to deeper water. 6/6 all browns. Trollin out to 100ft to look for kings.

Got rods out at 7am and so far 1 knockoff. Trollin east to west in 65FOW. Markin fish but not much action. Runnin mostly spoons and 1 FF on a 10 color. I will be updating trou out the day.

Good to know. Switchin to 69 now. Lol.
