I'd be interested in effectiveness as well. I actually bought two from cabelas a while back, used one once and had it set up wrong, got wire tangled in rigger and put it back on the shelf. Never set it back up. Wondering if it makes a difference and I should dog back out. Don't want to hijack thread but would be interested on a PM if OP or anyone else has used these with success. Updated to remove sold lots. Lead core i am nearly certain is 27lb suffix line (I don't have original spool to verify this). Typical leadcore depths are about 4-5 ft per color depending on speed.
