Sort of on this topic but is quessing downspeed by blowback possible or do currents play a bigger part?If so would running heavier balls bring my down speed closer to top speed?

We went out for 3 hours last night and went 0/2 Both fish were in 250-260fow down 60-70 on flasherfly and spoon. went In shallow around dusk tons of marks and bait at 110-130 but nothing for us.

I’m heading out of the oak again in 30 mins.sounds as tough as last night..any advice for depth or speed today?

Hey all,finally out here in 225 right now started at 130.have riggers at 50 n 70 with spoons and I have a dipsey off the side with meat rig 150 on the counter but it’s lead core..(can u fish lead core with divers?)meat rig attached on the diver..still really new at this and am just spraying and praying.no down temp or down speed .usually come out cover the column and do pretty well from following reports but today is different any advice is greatly appreciated!

I Was thinking about heading out with a 22 .5 Sabre how’s the chop out there?

I am heading north east for the weekend up to mud bay just wondering how far I would have to travel to get into some good water I’ve never been up there and it looks like it’s shallow for a while.just wondering if I should bring the riggers,planer boards etc.Are salmon and trout out of reach from there?dont wannany advice is greatly appreciated as always.i leave tomorrow around 1pm thanks!
