  1. Will fluorocarbon last longer.
  2. I am thinking of going with the same combination. Do you see action on one or the the only at the same time or both at the same time. Thank you
  3. I would like 10. I sent you a text message.
  4. I am add copper to next years salmon tool box. #45 witch finish do you prefer nickel or copper and does anyone use both. Happy New Year
  5. I raise my glass to that! Happy New Year to you All
  6. Wire lines are great. If they tangle they cut every thing. If you are only running and carrying 3 rods why would you make one of them wire. If your carrying 6 to 8 rods get 2 of each. (C,LC,W,M) One person run one rigger with prob and two long line. Two person run 2 riggers and 4 long lines. Easy peasy and you'll catch them all day. GOOD LUCK
  7. I would suggest you consider a ninja board to move a torpedo snapper line weight line out to a side.
  8. Thank you all for your feedback. You have made some interesting points and I will be picking up a pair and start by using this setup on ruff days off the outriggers. Happy New Year
  9. There is a youtude post that states the dive profiles are very close out plus 200. Of course this was with wire and 300 foot wieghted wire. My thoughts are that it would be the same for copper and braid. If this is true and the profiles can be determined two rods 300/450 would cover all depths from 300 to 650.
  10. how
  11. Are you saying the profile will be the same when you let a 300 copper out to 600? I am interest in tested profiles.
  12. Does anyone have or have access to a smart troll tested depth chart for 300 and 400 foot #45 copper that is extended out to 4, 5, 6, and 7 hundred feet with 60lb multi-color braid. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you All.
  13. I was thinking there would be copper line damage? Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Hi SK8, thank you your reply. I am think of only carrying long coppers and using the rollers to fish the depth needed. Is anyone doing this? Do you see any problems running this setup. Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Hi Nick, thank you the feedback. I am think of using them to run long coppers on outriggers and plainers. I am looks to be able to adjust the lengths on the fly. No more pulling them in to change form 300-600. Just reel to the length you need for the depth of the fish you just mark. Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Does anyone has any experience with the AFTCO Fishing Flatline Clip FL1B. My question is this release adjustment sensitive and light enough to be used for salmon?
  17. Nice trip, thank you for sharing. Now I need to fish for I's.
  18. I used three riggers and 2 cores from 2/3/4. I also run a rapula in the tail gunner.
  19. The weather was beautiful. The water was flat and dirty. I ran a sonar past in the bay and it was full of fish. We trolled the lake for 3 hours did not mark a fish. I ran east of the inlet in 10 to 40ft fow for 3 hours. Landed one small salmon on a small blue/white spoon. The picture shows most of the spoons I dropped. Your thoughts are appreciated.
  20. Headin out tomorrow, thanx for all the feedback guys. 🤞
  21. What's my chances of finding Steelhead?
  22. With the warm forecast for Tuesday, I am thinking of another last trip to Lake Ontario. I have not fished the lake this late. I will going to be launching out of Fair Haven. Your thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. Sent from my SM-J737V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. Thank you the airmar calculator. 👍
  24. I am looking for bottom clarity in deep water.
  25. I agree. Have you used it and is the clarity improvement significant. I have a medium chirp and I am considering a low chirp. There a big ticket item and I do not want to regret the purchase.
