Good day all, Looking to start a discussion to see where all the tackle swaps / fishing shows are for this coming year.
If you know or any could you please post date and location. Looking for some things to do while in the off season.
Hey all, quick question.
I have been switching out some of my rods from Diawa Wilderness to Okuma classic pro glt. I bought a couple GLTs (dipsy diver 9ft) but didn’t notice till I got home that they were Medium action and not the medium heavy that my wilderness rods were. In the past I can remember using a medium rod for the dipsys and my rod would be almost bent in half while trolling. What’s everyone using? MH or M.
target fish is salmon. Using slide divers or magnum divers
thanks
Hey all, I have been fishing Lake O for the last couple years and looking to make things a little easier. I have a 18 foot legend and notice when I’m fishing with two people and trying to net a fish it’s hard to control the boat with a little chop. I was wondering if anyone is using a Minn Kota trolling motor to help steer the boat in this situation. I currently do t have one and have been thinking about getting a terrova to keep my heading when trying to net. Any thoughts?
before you say it sometimes I can’t have a third to steer.
Thinking about adding a 9.9 to my 2014 xcalibur. Looks like I can only mount on one side due to swim platform. Anyone mount one on these transom? Have any pics? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Would still be fixed. Ideally I would like to adjust it to be higher when fishing, and lower when at speed Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Has anyone seen any pedestals that are adjustable from around 6” - 12” All I can find is 6” fixed. Or 12”-15 or higher. I am replacing my back to back seats with pedestals and the 12 and over leave me a foot above the windshield. Will be way to cold in the spring Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Does anyone know of any inserts that will work with the cannon tracks? Similar to the ones in the picture Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
I went out deep into the 350. Didn’t mark anything. Trolled back toward shore. Got a 20lb king at 270, stayed there for an hour and nothing else, moved into 170 fow and got 1 around 14lbs and 2 small steelhead. Still a slow bite. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
