Looking for a couple 2nd hand cradles. They dont come up often, and i missed out on a pair posted day after xmas, but if you have any and want to trade for tubes or want to sell let me know please thanks. Happy new year
This is awesome i have a 1995 sst and i plan on doing my transom soon also.... i would suggest to use the cherry picker to try and get the transom straight out and sawzall the thru-hull fittings if you cant hammer them out. Ive replaced it before. You got this, my next transom will be mostly epoxy i think.... best of luck!
25% off is a good deal, ive dealth with companies that wont offer anything. Fish hawk has treated me very well. Had what we thought was a bad head unit( after troubleshooting over the phone.)they sent out a 2nd unit without hesitation. Said to try that and send the one that didnt work back.... well long short it was the fuse holder, it wasnt making contact on the load side (facepalm) I promptly sent back the brand new head unit and a gift. Another great part was they never asked me to pay shipping. So in my experience they have had the best CS I ever dealt with. Sorry for the drawn out story. Tight lines.
Found these on the internet a while back, so i cannot take credit. I just keep them on my phone. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Dont use big boards anymore this can go $150 takes it. Telescopic mast upgraded to big jon reels, has a base plate for removal to be stored. Each reel has 2 spools of board line (new). Located in java village. Will include set of boards also. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I made a couple of masts from an old trampolines safety net poles, doubled as an outrigger also. They worked great i would add some springs to the pulley at the top if i ever did it again. I might be able to dig up some pictures if you are interested, that being said i picked up a mast for 100 bucks and it works just as well if not better, seeing as big jon reels are 100/set on the used market. I also have a schematic for big boards if you need. I think it's an 80 degree angle with a 30 degree face cut on the angle. Radial arm saw is best imo. I have a mast and boards its a fishlander telescopic mast, i upgraded to big john reels rather than the fishlander reels (they were half the size of Big Jons). Boards were made by my kids but i do have a scematic to make your own. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
