    Well as far as I am aware there is no travel ban so until there is we will have to get used to it.

    I think the big problem is if you try to charge a battery that is defective. Alternators are designed to keep a good battery charged up not to operate at full charge for long periods of time.

    I am not a mechanic, but if the battery is stone dead I dont think this is good for your alternator.

    I agree it is a tough situation, but go take a drive around. I have been in my house working from home for a week and a half, left the house to pick up a couple of things and you would think nothing was going on. Cars and people all over everywhere. Frankly in this situation the people showing up for their fun charter like nothing is going on are the ones mostly at fault. I am not going to criticize someone trying to make a living.
