  1. You really cant do much but hope. I would certainly ask the people that if they have been in contact with anyone that could have had the virus to cancel. Some people have little to no symptoms and the virus can be transmitted prior to the symptoms beginning to show. I would be vigilant about cleaning the boat and the gear. If you hunt and have an ozonics you may want to run that somewhere up high in the boat if it can be enclosed.
  2. Ahh, you werent suggesting plugging them both in at the same time.
  3. Good point, I have 1 I keep in the boat in case my batteries fail so I can at least get the motor started. Didnt think of using that to boost the voltage so the charger would pick it up. You dont thinkl that might cause a problem with the fuse? You can buy them in home depot or walmart actually. Mine is a schumacher and was around 100 bucks.
  4. If your battery is run wwwaaaayyy down try adding a regular charger to it to charge it to a level where the digital charger doesnt think the battery is bad. Some of the digital chargers will not charge a battery that is below a certain point. If it was me I would pull the battery take it home and put it on a charger overnight. Then go back with that battery and another known good battery(if you dont have one maybe you could pull one out of a vehicle) . Hook up the old one, if it works great, if it doesnt then hook up the second battery to see if you get the same result. Hopefully it works for you but if it doesnt you then will know if its the battery or the charger.
  5. Where are you located?
  6. Perhaps, although I think it is more likely to keep people from congregating in large groups and events locally. Restaraunts, bars , work. You already have truck drivers all over the US stopping at every gas station and rest area(that is open). I think that is more of a threat than a guy pulling his boat from 1 house to another. And honestly, I dont have carpet and dont like lakers hitting the deck somebody is likely to fall on their butt!
  7. I am sure there will be room. If not get out start coughing and hacking, a spot or 2 is likely to open up.
  8. Yeah that is ground zero down there! I am up in Guilderland but grew up on Lake O. Dont worry no plans to go to indian lake anytime soon!
  9. I am not a good judge as I like almost no fish. Everything gets thrown back for another day unless it is clear it isnt going to make it. Then into the deadwell. I have a few guys that love anything I bring back. Never fished any of the adirondack lakes, it is certainly beautiful country.
  10. That is why I have hand sanitizer in the cupholder in my truck!
  11. I throw everything back. Not a big fish eater anyway...other than perch and walleye!
  12. you must be hungry. I dont know anybody that eats those things.
  13. I dont think so either. And I may be headed to my place as well. If I am going to be stuck somewhere it might as well be on the lake.
  14. Yeah my yard work is all done early! I am now considering going up to the cottage and getting all the spring prep completed. Boat is still in storage and I was looking forward to trying for some browns for the first time as I always seem to be busy in the spring. Maybe this will be the year.
  15. I agree. Only break one law at a time. Dont drive there smoking a joint with a beer between your legs and you will be fine.
  16. Enjoy it while you still can! I love fishing with my dad and there will come a time when you can no longer make those memories.
  17. I thought this might be beer!
  18. This administration is certainly adding to it at this point, but we have seen this in the past. the last administration during 2010-2012 added ~3.9 trillion. It'll turn around eventually but I wouldn't be waiting for any tax cuts.
  19. I prefer the east wind. The west/southwest winds make it tough going over by Sand Creek , Henderson.
  20. 1000 ft of wire and 150' of backer??
  21. For trolling I would say no, I am changing presentations out quite frequently at times and they arent catching fish if they arent in the water. So it is purely a timing thing for me. Plus now a days I need to go find my glasses to tie a knot.
  22. The class was well worth the time and money. I attended both days and Dan, Lucas and Rob did a fantastic job. The prizes were a nice unexpected bonus! Thanks Guys you did a great job!
  23. Agreed down 120 is 120 regardless if you have 120 foot of wire out or 160. The stress at the rigger is why I run 10s. I do run torpedoes and not balls to help reduce the blowback
  24. I use 10s and fish all summer from 70-150 feet. I am kind of paranoid about going heavier with the stress at the rigger mount, and I can always let out more cable. But I did buy a fishhawk so I would have a better idea of what water temp/depth I am at.
