  1. Way to go!!! You making me wish I was fishing!
  2. Must have been the day, I lost a probe and weight same day out of Braddocks.
  3. Way to go! What depth were you fishing today?
  4. Yeah that's for sure worse things could happen. Checked price on new probe, not quite as bad as was thinking. Guess I'll learn to inspect my rigger cables better!
  5. Had a slow day out of Braddocks today. After stopping by Mitchel's to get some cut bait got on water 9:30-2:00. Did get a 7 lb steelhead in 90 fow on 300 copper with spoon. Went out to 250 with best screen about 160-180. Had a rip on the dipsy in 180 fow but we missed him other then that couldn't get anything going. Went into 120 for lakers picked one up right away on gambler rig. Then for some reason when downrigger was up cable tore sending my fishhawk probe an ball to the bottom off lake Ontario... OUCH!! Decided it's not our day and called it a day. Still a beautiful day out on the water.
  6. Ok, Thanks for the info.
  7. I just bought a uniden vhf marine radio. My question is what antenna is needed for out on lake Ontario? There seems to be many different sizes, want to make sure I get the right one.
  8. The lake looks calm in your pics. I wish I would've gone today, figured the sw winds turning west would get to choppy for my boat.
  9. Awesome!! Looks like you got into some nice fish.
  10. Good job everyone! Sounds like you all got into some fish. Hoping to get out maybe later next week. Hopefully the king bite gets more consistent with the lake setting up.
  11. Nice!! Way to go. Do the steelhead hit about anything a king does? Spoons, FF? I hardly get any steelhead, I'm guessing it might also be that I don't fish far enough out.
  12. We fished out of Braddocks as well 9:00-2:30. 5 lakers 1 small king fished mostly 130-220. Was hoping for some kings after playing with finger lakes lakers. Maybe next time.... still a great day to be on the water.
  13. Quit at 2:30 couldn't find the kings. 5 lakers 1 dink king. On way in had 45 degree down 65 over 75 till we pulled them, marked some bait in there but no hooks.
  14. No started at 130 should check it on way in
  15. 44 degrees down 80 over 130 a lot of the other boats were in here as well
  16. Just 4 Lakers and 1 small king mostly blank screen fishing 130 to 220
