    Trolled east from the bar in 150-200 FOW. Picked up 4 (nothing big). 3 on a rigger 95 down and one on a wire diver out 85 on a 1 setting Seemed a little slow this morning. Probably heading to deeper water this afternoon

    We did ok Friday night. Boated 9 fish and lost 2. Kept 4 decent kings and 2 steelhead. We were 14 miles North of olcott in >500 FOW. Flasher fly worked best but also took a few on spoons and 1 on meet. Fish were around 60 feet down. Fish didn’t start hitting until after 6:30. Went to the same location this morning and took 2 steelhead. Came in after 2 hours. Not sure where we will go this afternoon Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    I love the Niagara bar…drive 6 hours from Detroit last two springs to fish it. Boat traffic was thicker this past weekend but nothing compared to fishing Manistee, MI in the fall.     I have the Itroll on my Yamaha 9.9 Kicker. had Trollmaster on my previous boat. Both work well, Itroll is 'more precise' according to the marketing. Overall I am happy with the iTroll and would buy it again. I'm considering adding the 'hunt' mode

    Agree with all the advice above. I'm heading over from Detroit on May 12th hoping to stay through the weekend.     Have a trip planned for this Thursday - Sunday with a few friends from Detroit. Haven’t seen any reports lately out of the Olcott area and curious if we are too late? We can fish from Niagara to Oak Orchard (wherever is best). Weather looks like its been pretty windy lately. Curious what everyone thinks...should we make the trip or is the season over?     this is the latitude reading on your GPS For example is someone is setting up at the 28N line that would mean N 43 28.000.

    Glad to hear this. I just booked the 'Presley' house on Airbnb (host is Kerry). She included 2 slips for us. Looks like its only a few houses from the Marina. I just hope the weather is good and the fish are still there!
