Most of the name brand ones are Interchangable. If you look for off brand or cheap ones on ebay or amazon they may not be the same. Stick with Bert's cisco traxtech and you will be ok Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Funny you guys come to ohio to get spoiled on our walleye and we come to New York to fight salmon cause were bored of walleye. Weve been fishing that area regular and east to lorain there is fish for miles along that line. The water has cooled significantly this week I would start around 1.6 and move up or down from there. Boat control/ iPilot performance and kicker questions
jmyers8 replied to chowder's topic in This Old Boat
On erie the 9.9 is the main set up for tournament style boats. Most guys run there kicker just above idle or whatever speed they want and just lock it to steer straight then use the ipilot for steering and spot lock. My 9.9 mercury I have to walk back to the end of the boat to see the exhaust stream to hear it running. You'll use way less gas and help keep alot of hours off the big motor and maintenance is alot cheaper also. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk -

When I took my boat for a test drive and the first time I had hydraulic steering I also thought it was pretty stiff. Eventually it just becomes normal after you get used to it. As long as its "smooth" but tight I think your ok. You dont wsnt to feel any fighting or jumping against it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I have an extra magda 45 that I'm wanting to put something on. We make a few trips a year in the spring and summer for salmon from the niagara bar to olcott. I have 2 wire dipsys 4 braided dipsys a 250 copper and a 300 copper. Would you duplicate one of the copper set ups or do something different? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I have 2 18 inch pieces and 2 6 inch pieces of track I'd like to sell to upgrade to 1 36 inch piece per side. I'm in ohio so buyer will pay for shipping. 45 for 18 inch and 25 for 6 inch. I'd like to sell the 18 inch pieces before the 6 inch so it doesnt mess up my set up. All pieces have been mounted to a crestliner downrigger mount so they are in good shape with just minor scratches. My number is 440 522 5940 Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Depends on how you want to run them. My copper has braid backing so my front clip is a Sam's pro release then my back is a snapper clip. This way you can release the copper and not fight the board. If you had braid you could also run the black snapper up front and the red one with the pin in the back but this wint release but you should never lose a board. If you have mono backing you could run them stock or change them out basically anyway you wanted it. All my boards for walleye are stock so we can release them when we run 3 a side it helps alot Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
