    Never mind, all set. I have 5 echomap and kraken. All networked with the hub. So straight forward to use, even I figured it out.

    It is good to see discussion and a general consensus the fishery needs a change to get back to more balance of high numbers with large fish mixed in.

    I will add if space is short, the form factor of garmin is a bit smaller

    You are really buying a system now. I went with Garmin because I use a lot of it and I can even run some of it from my watch. I would guess they are all good now

    Deeper breaks drifting a crawler and split shot will put you on larger fish. That lake is fun.

    Lake Oahe in SD is starting to produce 20lb kings currently after a couple down years, so I personally think much of this is cyclical.

    I run a j plug all year from lake o, to Lake Michigan to lake Oahe, tends to produce the bigger fish all season

    They are called kings for a reason. If you are catching smaller fish, steelhead are more fun and coho taste better.

    Wouldn’t it be nice to catch a fish heavier than the lb test line you use?

    If I wanted quantity I would perch fish. Charters can typically provide numbers regardless if big kings aren’t the goal. 1 30lb king is way better than a bunch of 10-20lb. Part is the fight, the other is the memories. I do think you can have both, time will tell.

    I am pretty optimistic for next year.

    Maybe next year will be epic with all the 2-3 being 3-4 next year.

    KD tournament in WI I believe the top 10 were all 30lb and up. In MI a one day tournament this weekend, biggest king was 34lb I believe. They are also have the quantity like lake O this year. Not too long ago kings were small and limited in number. Might be worth looking at their approach as of late
