Messed up my back last year and had to sit on sidelines all season recovering from surgery which was the absolute WORST. Came into this season not really knowing what to expect, so didn't set any expectations. My back held me out a few of the hot bite nights/mornings this year unfortunately. However, was able to tie my pb with 40 kings hitting the concrete this season. I had a pb night going 11 for 11, my first double digit night since I've been doin this. Had an 18 fish day!! If I don't catch another king off the piers this year, I'm content. All my buddies did exceptionally well too which makes it all that much more fun when everyone is all bent up. Still gonna push but this heatwave coming through doesn't look good. Hope you all had a great season, it'll come back around before you know it.

Been stellar for me thus far. Still think the best is yet to come, and waitin on them ho's!!!!

I mean I'm ok with that, I'm fine with anything related to LOU. But no he specifically mentioned this guy, and another mutual friend of ours also had his reports stolen by the same guy.

I'm not sure I'd have to ask my friend who saw it on there, I got rid of my Facebook 5yr ago. He just told me the guy basically copied my entire post with picture along with someone else's from this group (not yours). I know who the guy is and he's always had pretty bad reputation amongst a lot of the area fisherman I come across never hear anything good about him. I believe it's Let's Catch Fish ESPN or something like that. Clown show created by a clown.

Is it just me or is someone actually stealing the info and reports that are being posted and to be used for this site only, for their own personal Facebook or company?? I've been a long time follower of LOU, and just recently became a member and started commenting and posting. I don't have any social media accounts, or anything like that where I share any info besides here when it comes to fishing. I really enjoy this site and have learned a lot from everyone on here by following along over the years. It was brought to my attention yesterday after a friend of mine saw my post/report from yesterday essentially copy and pasted on someone elses Facebook page (within hours of me posting) with my picture along with some other posts/pics of members from here. It's a shame, because I really do like this page a lot but I will not be posting anything any further if this is going to persist. I'd like to hear what other ppl think and if anything can be done about this.

This is my favorite time of year!

Went out this morning out of I Bay headed East. Picked up 1 small king and 1 coho first 30 min both on sticks 20 fow. Was actually wicked cold out there this a.m. like burrrrr cold. Around 830am me and my buddy were both kinda over the cold so we decided we were gonna call it a day soon. I Had a 10.5ft Gary Loomis Edge Black Widow Spinning rod paired with a Shimano Stradic 4000xg with me that I use on the piers for casting, lined with 20lb maxcuatro and a Seaguar Blue 20lb leader... I was runnin a deep diving stick in Seasick pattern. I literally sat down in the passenger seat, and dropped that stick right in propwash and let out about 60-75ft of line. Not 10min later, rod butt in my lap and daydreaming about chrome kings doesn't that stick get absolutely DEMOLISHED by one of the biggest spring kings I've ever seen in person. Low 20's judging by the tail that I couldn't get my hand around. Had me almost to my backing so probably peeled off around 225yards or so. Probably the best fight I've ever been in with a fish (that i landed), and on my spinning rod in open water just everything about the whole experience was absolutely amazing. Released the fish afterwards and swam off like nothing happened. Cold water spring kings, is there anything better??!!! Tight lines!!!

NBK is a spoon pattern/color, aka Natural Born Killer!.... Michigan Stingers and Dreamweaver spoons carry that pattern its a good one to have in your tackle box.

Today, I witnessed the most violent take off a planer board I ever saw... the inside stick off the board was runnin about 20yrds behind the boat. I was driven and happened to be looking back at the time the king hit. Fish drilled the stick so hard we literally heard the air break from the line releasing from the clip so forcefully!!! Immediately the fish was airborne about 4ft doing a cartwheel off to the side of the boat in 3.5ft rollers, and the sun was out so all you saw was silver shimmering everywhere. I live for this s@#$!!! Ended 4-4 in a couple hours 2 Bt's 2 Springers. Tight lines, and hope you guys are out there making memories like that with me.

Atlantic!!... jaw doesn't go passed its eye, very defined lateral line... pretty easy one there imo
