  1. Bay bridge tackle shop does. Picked up some last weekend
  2. I know everything in my boat less the trolling motor run off the one battery. I have the lowrance set up to show voltage. Normally it showing 13+ volts when the kicker is on. And off about 12. That is a 2011 9.9
  3. Lines in about 6:30 100 fow, cold up high. Set riggers at 50 and 40, dipsys out +/- 100. Saw some fish on the surface so 2 deep diving flicker minnows on the big boards. Headed north only saw a few. Came back south to 100 and headed west. Took a eating size king on a slider. Mag nbk. Reset and a flat line went off. Lost that one but looked like a 18" steelhead. Didn't get that line back in and the slider went again. Fish went in front of both riggers. Got it off of one and broke it off the second. That was a better one. Tough when they charge the boat like that and are that shallow. So if anyone finds a mag nbk let me know! Fished till 10 and nothing else hit.
  4. yeah I cant see the video.
  5. Any chance that diagram is available? did a search and could not find it
  6. Morning. We where lines in the water about 630. Spoon/flasher fly/meat. Started little over 100 and worked out to 200. Saw some fish and bait scattered. Did take one shaker king I. 180, 225' out on a wire dipsy 3 setting with meat. Had to pickup up about 10 for other obligations. DEC fish survey was in the channel on the way in. Nice day out. Boats where concentrated early then started breaking up. Only saw a couple out deep.
  7. Taking my father in law in the morning, been a few weeks since we have been out there. Any info on a starting point? Thanks
  8. Run leadcore onto one of them in the amount you want then add the braid to fill the spool. Then reverse that onto another reel of the same size. Then you know your full.
  9. trying to avoid running inlines but may end up going that route. how are you guys running long lines off your big planers? I only plan on running one line per board with a diver rod and rigger rod on the same side. 6 rod spread. my other option is double divers. if i go with the long lines how are you deploying them to not get caught in the dipsy line? was thinking let out the 50-100 of line with lure. attach the weight, let out the 50-100' needed to get to the depth we are after but im not sure if that would be enough to clear the wire. understanding the wire is down and out at an angle and the lines off the boards should be shallower at the lure to not cause any issues when a fish hits. any advice would be great. thanks
  10. Draw weight and length?
  11. This setup is better but not perfect. Think a slightly heavier return string on the carb will help
  12. Will be in lake George 21st-24th for work. Wondering if I should drag the boat up and try to find some time to fish. Anyone active on that body of water? If so what are you having luck doing? Thanks
  13. That's is the same I ended up with, including washer. Thanks for the guidance everyone
  14. Feds do shoot them. Know a guy that does it for them
  15. Thank you, matching original size?
  16. What are you guys running for hooks on your sticks? I've bent a few factory ones up and have yet to have a king take one. Thanks
  17. What are you guys running for hooks on your sticks? I've bent a few factory ones up and have yet to have a king take one. Thanks
  18. this is still for sale
  19. Brocraft downrigger mount with a 6" track on top of that. Then Bert's swivel mount then the rigger. Gives the height and swivel I needed. As for rod holders, cannon dual axis on some 4" angle, 3/8" thick. Again gives a little height off the rail so your not bending down as far. Have not had any trouble with either setup so far
  20. Bought a used trollmaster 3 off eBay and installed it this week. There was still quite the jump in speed. Did some more digging and found some have had success adjusting the idle mix screw. Pulled the brass plug and made some adjustments to the screw. Backing it out and manually giving it some throttle. Found a spot where it advances smooth and does not jump or stumble. Backed it out a turn or more to get there. The. I adjusted the idle speed to 975-1000 RPM(with one of those cheap tiny tach add ons). Lastly I moved the point where the trollmaster cable attaches closer to the pivot on the arm. Testing it in a bucket it seems smoother overall. Will check it in the am on the lake.
  21. Ok thank you. Know right where it is did not know it was public access. When is it off limits?
  22. Very nice. What launch? The old bait shop? I've only ever used the public one around the point
