Was out last night too... Think I saw you guys... Nice laker!! Landed few nice kings, one on flasher and fly 2 on spoons... Bait and fish were up high in water column.. 125 fow 50-70 down

I did well yesterday morning in 90 to 125 fow 60 to 80 down Mostly spoon bite for me

It's been a great bite the last few days out there... Nice fish... especially that Atlantic! Good job!

Got out for two hours after work.. First king in 200 fow 85 down on carbon 14 magnum... 2nd king on meat rig off dipsey..

Fished out of Sandy last night for 2 hours.. got 2 smallish kings .. nothing much going on... Started in 150 trolled out to 250 and back.. I'm thinking they are offshore because they certainly weren't where I was . .. 😆

Meat rig on wire dipsey setup has been hard to beat. 11 inch paddle with 6 ft of leader. Best to have meat strip spin 1 to 1.5 times per second.. #1 dipsey at 225 on 2.5 setting Hasn't worked as well off the rigger for me..

Single treble on the meat rig was missing fish so I added an extra treble... I think adding a single hook in front of it would have worked better.. I'll try again with better quality hook... That spoon had been really hot especially for steelhead... Not sure of the name..

Got out early and fished til 9:30. Same program... Landed 4 kings and 3 steelhead... Lost another 5 fish and had several empty releases... Steelhead were jumping completely out of the water... Then had a rip on the dipsy and he ran out 100 plus feet on wire... Started gaining a bit and he straightened the treble hooks out on my meat rig... I had added an eagle claw laser sharp treble to help with hook-ups and that was a mistake... This evening was slower.. did manage one nice king on a spoon, some small to medium kings and ended the night with a beautiful Atlantic...

Got out from 6-8:30 .. landed 9 kings and 2 steelhead straight out in front in roughly 225 fow. 55 down on rigger seemed to be the sweet spot.. flasher fly, meat rig and carbon 14 spoon took all fish... Beautiful night on the water.. KVID1241.mp4

Thanks for the report... Similar last night for me. About 200 to 230 fow .. couple steelhead and smaller kings with one good one. Meat rig has been the ticket for the bigger kings .. 175 ft of wire #1 dipsey on 2 setting.. Steelhead on spoons 50 down. Happy 4th!! Hope to get out tomorrow morning

I was straight out and just a touch east... Mostly blank screen with occasional bait .... Kind of did big circles out there.. no direction seemed to be better than the other

Was out of Sandy this morning and did well in closer . 150 fow 50 down with meat rig was HOT. Also took jabs and fish on flasher fly and carbon 14.. great morning

Was out of oak 4 or 5 days ago. Water temp was cold. 57 on top. 40 deg 50 feet down Did ok on kings but really well on steelhead.. 100 to 200 fow mostly spoon bite Hope this helps
