Not since August. I have a 19-foot alumacraft tiller (thing that barely drafts) and spent most of the spring/ summer just dropping the trolling motor for peace of mind and navigating until I got past the markers. Just not worth keeping the prop down. Gosh, I hope they can figure something out one of these days. I have no idea how these guys with cigarette boats fly out of that channel.

Hey everyone, Wanted to get some 2 cents on walleye fishing the big O south shore. Has anyone ever had luck specifically targeting walleye either on deep structure or open water trolling? I fish out of Braddock's a lot for lakers and browns. Got to thinking one day, walleye's must be out there. Obviously, nothing close to ERIE numbers but would be curious to see if we could put a couple in the boat if we spent enough time trying. What does everyone think?
