We didn't feel like steaming out in the snotty stuff to get into deeper water this afternoon. Went out and started marking fishing between 95-140 fow. Saw them, just couldn't hook up You aren't too far from us! Will be chasing deeper water in the morning. Glad you were able to land a couple! Makes putting up with the rough stuff worth it

First time on the lake this morning, and what a morning it was! Little more wind and seas than expected, but still fished from 6:00-12:30. Fished off of Sodus bay. Only marked a few fish from 80-180 fow, fished with lead and riggers varying depths between 15-70'. Flashers, meat, spoons, hardbaits, we tried all colors and sizes we had. Looks like the wind pushed a ton of bait inshore, fished 40-60 fow on the way in and marked non-stop bait at 10-20'. But still no luck! Anyone have better luck than we did this morning?? Hoping the wind does down for the evening......
