Hey all, first post on here… few questions about fishing Gina Power Plant.
I’m a broke college kid who just got an inflatable pontoon style kayak, 12’ 6” long.
I guess my first question would be would any of you feel comfortable taking that out to fish the edge of the buoys by Gina Power Plant? Obviously I’d go on a day with least amount of wind/waves because of my boat size. I’ve been kayaking my whole life but never on that big of water.
Second question is, is it even worth fishing outside the boundary? If so, how would you target fish there? Casting spoons? I know some have said when the buoys aren’t out they go in and hammer browns, but I don’t feel like having a run in with the coast guard.
