  1. Thats bullcrap on the insurance, they are trying hard not to pay out. A quick letter from a lawyer and he will get covered.
  2. My friend has a 140 yamaha 4 stroke and a 10hp mercury 4 stroke kicker on his.
  3. Got up this weekend to open the house for the summer and do some fishing. Fished the south west side Friday am and put a couple small salmon on the boat before motoring overt to the east side and picking up a couple nice rainbows on the fly rods. Went back to the east side saturday morning and it was game on. Trolled fly rods with gray ghosts and purple smelt flies and purple/ copper spoons on the planer boards went 10/15 on salmon and rainbows. Best fish was a 4-5 lb salmon and most were in the 3-4 lb range. Most fish came on the flies. before we got chased off by the wind around 1.

  4. You cant and shouldn't run the government like a business. That makes the government the boss and the taxpayer the employee. It should be the other way around. If all they are judged by is "making a profit" Then you know the citizens are going without so the government can be profitable. The government should be there to serve all the people not just those that can afford the services provided through taxation. This isn't really an audit. Audits require professional auditors and a review of the findings. Right now this is just somebody pointing out things they don't like and calling it fraud.
  5. Well I finally did it and bought my house between Seneca and Cayuga lakes. I am about 3 miles from Deans cove and 6 miles from Sampson so it looks like a great location to get some fishing in. I have fished the lakes a lot in the mid eighties and always did well on rainbows in Seneca and lake trout wherever you wanted to catch them. I am sure that things have changed a bunch since then with the zebra mussels and changing environmental conditions. I am just looking for a hint or two on when to get out for some salmon/rainbow fishing early spring. Is one lake more consistent than the other and should I head north or south? I do have the option of trailering to any other launches. Is it mainly a trolling fly bite or the spoons?
