Happy spring! The warm water season is approaching. If you are considering a new rod, I have multiple fishing rods that I have hand made for sale - you are welcome to compare them with any rods you have at Taughannock Park on the west side of Cayuga Lake.

 

Most are spinning rods designed to fish 1/16 oz to 1/2 oz lures. Most are 6 feet long or longer. They have lightweight rod handles and lightweight guides to make them exceptionally sensitive. I've used Loomis, St. Croix, Lamiglas, Batson/ Rainshadow or North Fork Composite blanks on most rods. You'll feel the difference when you handle them.
