Been having problems with X4D below 75 feet. Loosing signal or false readings. New batteries installed and clean transducer. Transducer and probe on same side. Can't figure it out. Any help appreciated. Thanks

You can increase the sensitivity to see if that helps. Also the X4D works at 70 khz, if you are running other electronics within 20 khz of that frequency they can interfere, such as using your fishfinder at 83khz.

Try tilting your fish hawk transducer at more of an angle towards the stern. If the blow back on your downrigger cables is too far back, the transducer may be intermittently reading the probe. That would make sense if the deeper you go the worse it gets.
