Lures in the water by 10am, bright day so used hot greens and alewife patterns. Marked millions of fish 40 fow, 20-30 down. Ran 3 lines on rigger 1 dipsy. Never caught a thing. Please advise success path. How far off ball, how much height when stacking lines. Proper color selection of Michigan stingers and proper size. Also, should we use our planer boards and if so, how best to rig them. Thank you in advance.

You are entering the June doldrums   Fishing is sloooow   Target browns where 60 ° water intersects the bottom   Lakers in 150 fow near bottom. Kings ??? Your guess is as good as anyone else’s. Best bet for chinooks, offshore near the shipping channel  fish the bait pods. Good luck

I was out Thursday afternoon in the same area. The browns I caught were in 80 FOW, using a 300 copper off a planer board. Black spoon with silver ladderback, and a silver back. Wasn't planning on running into browns that deep but. Fishing was tough all week. 2.5 mph seemed to be the most productive.

Did have a strike in 120 FOW on a flasher fly, assuming it was a Lake trout.

Lots of bait pods out there.
