Be careful with the Garmin dual beam 77/200 as it will interfere with your Fish Hawk which works on 70khz.

Thanks, the one I was looking at is 50/200 . I will try the p66 though thanks

I install Airmar P66 & B60 on a lot of UHD models and haven't had an issue. You wont find them in transducer selectin menu by their names, and the unit will not recognize the transducer upon set-up. You have to go in and select 50/200khz manually.

I have one on the way. Thanks

Just to update Garmin’s response on P66 and UHD, they are shown as not compatible because you lose the speed feature, it will not track. Of no consequence to me, but wanted to share the response.

Thinking about installing a p66 on my Garmin units , I went with the tm150 and not impressed

I just installed the p66 with the adapter cable.  Works fine with the 93sv. As mentioned above, you need to select the frequencies manually so it doesn't auto detect.  Seems like it is a big upgrade over my Gt54.  Marks show up clearer and it picks up a whole lot more. Need a bit more time on the water with it but seems like it was great with my limited experience running it.

I'd also add that these new units like to default to CHIRP. Go into transducer selection and make sure you select 50 & 200 on the sonar menu. You don't want to CHIRP through a non-CHIRP transducer. Ask me how I know

The airmar tm150 is a Chrip, I think it sucks for deep water

I know that. I was referring to the P66.

Can you use a Y adapter to have both the gt56 and p66 attached to one 93sv and just nit run them both at same time? Thanks

I don't think so, but would be worth a call to Garmin
