For fish or for food? I use a 60qt (I think) for fish on derby days it's the right size for lake o

If it is for keeping the big ones cool, you should go for the 150 quart one. They are available for less than $100 at BJs and Costco.

i wouldn't go any less than 100 as you need space for ice and fish. i have had days when our 100 was full to the brim. now i only fiush walleye on Erie and still use the 100 with the door in the lid. but i think it also comes in a 1500. if you have room or planning to mount it on the back i would go with a 150.

150/160qt is fine if you have the room on your boat. Our tourney weigh-in cooler is a 100qt Grizzly. I've had a nice 12 fish box of fish (Salmon and Trout) in that with ice. I'd say that is the size most people could get away with.
