Fished from 5:30 until 10:45.  65' to 80' down in 180 to 250 fow.  We went 8 for 11 (lost one at the net...I wasn't netting, and I lost 2 others [one was of good size and fought with me for three minutes before he let go]).  NBK was the hot spoon pattern; only took one on meat.

I got our sixth one for the box (19 pounds 8 ounces) and we cleared the rods on one side and did a couple of dance steps with the wire divers as the fish went over and under a couple of times.  I thought I would lose number four, but we got it. As we were reeling this in, our meat rig took a hit so we reeled that in and released it quick as we could (10 or 11 pounder I'm guessing).

The black flies were horrible.  The fleas weren't much better at times, they were collecting on the swivel to the fish hawk.

Here is our biggest of the day.  I had a pretty good laugh as my buddy almost went in while taking the picture.

Nice going John. Guess it was well worth putting up with the flies and fleas after all:smile:
