Bear's Bait Shop will be holding a one-day fishing tournament on Cayuga Lake Saturday August 12th, 2023, supporting HOSPICARE in Barney Baldwin name. Attached is the entry form for the tournament. You can also sign up at Bear's Baits, located at Myers Park in Lansing, New York.

17lb 5oz fish took first. That's huge. Doesnt have an L by it like the 2nd and 3rd.. but I assume it must have been a laker? ..Anybody have any fishing advice for me? I am fishing cayuga tomorrow. Going out of Long Point.

The 17.5 lb Laker was legit, it was the biggest Laker by far I have ever had in my boat. We caught it on a wire dipsey with a stinger spoon in toe on a long lead.

100% legit! I know him and he’s a straight shooter.  Another friend on mine caught a 17 pounder years ago by tfalls.  Both are avid fishermen and could be guides if they wanted the extra hassle. Big ones are out there!
