Hello everyone, my name is Steve. I am new to the lake but my family is not. We recently bought a home on east lake and just got our boat on the water. Now im looking to get to know the lake and how to fish it. Im a catch and release guy so any tips I can get would be awesome. Im doing my research on poles and tackle but its always good to hear from the guys who know the lake and are catching. Any chance anyone can share their knowledge on depths and lures for july and august. I look forward to seeing you all on the water .

Thanks. We were on Skaneateles lake monday thru thursday . Trying from our dock mostly and caught 3 nice smallies. Had no luck on the boat . Would love any feed back on fishing deeper . We were trying at 60 ft with no luck.
