Guys, got some good news from Dawn at the Town of Newfane Marina yesterday. She told me that she confirmed with her supplier that for this full boating season at least, the Gas Dock at the Newfane Marina in Olcott will NOT have Ethanol, it will be straight 89 Octane gasoline.

Tim did you get your boat back from Jimmy yet? Nice set up you have. I took advantage of the no ethanol and filled up before I left I only paid $2.39 not sure if it went up but a good deal for on the water gas

Mercruiser engines require 89 octane fuel.

Technically, my Mercruiser owners manual says at least 88 octane, but that effectively means 89 since 88 isn't available anywhere. That is probably why the marina carries 89.

Erin, Jim was supposed to put it back on the trailer on Monday (for some reason he didn't want to try it in the 30+ mph winds on sunday)

I'll most likely get everything back on it and drop it in the slip this weekend.
