Fished 5/3-5/11 out of Sandy Pond south as far as the Salmon River and north as far as Montario State Park. When the weather cooperated the fishing was excellent, when it was bright, sunny and beautiful boating weather the fishing completely shut down. Caught fish on silver rapalas, gold rapalas, gold smithwicks, orange reef runners, alewife colored spoons and Billy V's SS habanero spoons. Nice week to be on the water and not be at work. We also tried walleye fishing for the first time and landed a few in Sandy Pond when the lake got rough one day. Nothing huge but they made one hell of a fish fry the next day for lunch.

Guppy35: I fish out of the pond and will hopefully get plenty of time in this weekend. Boat name is "Desperado". This will be the first time on the water this year because of too much work. I am hoping for an excellent start, the weather looks good.
