What in the world were they thinking when they designed the new pier at Ollcot. Guess they don't want people fishing anymore. Some real genius designed this one. good ole DEC , I'm sure with no access the whole area is going to suffer, that was a very popular access point for shore anglers.

Army corp of engineers did the work. Agreed that for the disabled, the elderly and people that drink too much, the rocks present a challenge. Take your time climbing around and you can find some flat spots to cast.

It's just a matter of time before someone is seriously injured while climbing over those boulders in an attempt to reach the water's edge. Hard to believe this was once "America's Ultimate Fishing Town."
