Thanks for the report. Ya can’t win them all Rick!  Funny how the mood of the fish along with the accompanying body changes of the spawn can effect hook up rates. We noticed most of our stagers caught over the weekend were hooked in the bottom jaw and tongue area instead of the usual corner of the mouth. An equally exciting and frustrating time of the year.
