2007 Trophy 1902 WA with a 150 Merc. Optimax

with the 2020 9.9 Mercury Pro Kicker and EZ Steer hookup

The bimini is in great shape and the window enclosures are two and a half years old.

sale includes:

  • the kicker
  • the Simrad GO9 EXE with Active Imaging 3-in-1 and C-MAP Pro Fish Finder/Chartplotter Combo
  • the older and perfectly working HDS series Lowrance fish finder
  • a Fishhawk X4D
  • Lowrance autopilot hooked up to the Simrad
  • two Big Jon Captain Pack riggers
  • two 12 pound torpedo rigger weights
  • the ConTrollKing Remote Throttle Control
  • two Bert's Rod Holders
  • two High Seas Gear triple Rod trees
  • anker (with rope and chain)
  • life jackets
  • the porta potty that was never used (the hookup is used for raw water to wash the deck)
  • full boat storage canvas
  • canvas motor cover (for the 150)
  • the trailer

The trailer is a 2014 Loadrite dual axel.

Spring 2024, I did install a new SEI driveshaft unit on it

I have it winterized and wrapped every winter.

All you need to do is add the rods and tackle...and a net.

I have owned this boat for five years.  When I purchased the boat in July 2019 the motor had 481 hours on it.  I do not know the hours now.  For the previous four years, l have fished 20 to 22 times each year.  I only used the boat/main motor to get out and back for fishing out of Sodus Point.

The reasons I am selling:

  • I got back into coaching football (this is the main reason - I am coaching year number 31)
  • my brother has a boat and is building on Seneca Lake now
  • my wife can't go out on the boat due to back issues/surgery
  • it is hard to find a reliable person to fish with

I am asking  $17,500

The boat is docked at LeRoy Island in Sodus Bay. If interested, PM me.

Glad your coaching again John! Great boat won’t last long.  Go Eagles!

I am not at Midlakes, that would make too much sense for me.  I am coaching with a guy I coached in college and with the son of a coach I used to coach against in this area.  I missed it.

Not interested in purchasing. Just curious as to wear you got your full enclosure, working on restoring a 96' trophy 2002. Response much appreciated.

John Mann, he is located in Sodus Point - reasonably priced and great work.  His number is 315-871-6400.

One last question, do you remember what it cost for the full enclosure?

Usually for a full wrap around like that 2-3k Magee in Geneva does them

Mine did not cost near that (I had the bimini).  I got the front, the two sides, and the back done (see my layout).  It was not even close to $2K for my setup.

Magee is pretty good but over priced in my opinion. I had a lot of canvas done by him when I got my boat new and then later had to have it re-sewn because of the cheap thread that was used for the seams which deteriorated in the sunlight (to the tune of $800). John Mann of Sodus Bay Canvas is a much better option both in terms of quality and pricing. There is a big difference in the quality of thread used for the seams and most folks don't realize it and the good stuff is quite a bit more expensive.

Best of luck with the boat John. Looks like a great deal for someone and I know you take a lot of care for your stuff so whoever buys it will be a "happy camper".

It is still for sale.

Depending on weather, I usually get the boat into the water the first or second week of April.  It is currently shrink wrapped but not at my house.
