perch/spot lock question

Spot lock is a great tool when fishing deep water and finding schools with electronics. Saves a great deal of anchor pulling, easier to place boat over the school and easier to follow the school.
In shallow water I often do drop 2 anchors to lock boat in position and avoid mild swing from spot lock. Once anchored it also is quiet. Need to be quiet deploying the anchors as noise can definitely affect the bite.
