With the winds today & Thursday, do you think water will still be stained Saturday with a Southern wind ? Are 8' by 10 lb fluorocarbon leaders long enough ? Maybe 10' ? Idk. Any thoughts on my spoons ? 3.75 Super slims. It's extremely rare I get out there with my small boat. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Spoons will work. I usually run 8 to 10 ft leaders . If you have a few various stick baits may want to throw in the mix. I like smithwicks the best but a lot of different opinions. Smithwicks firetiger can be money…..

yes, water will be stained. Genny has been flowing pretty well.  MODIS shows more color to west than east.

I don’t ever run leaders on Walleye/Browns rigger or flat planer rods but I am not far from the Niagara river. Find warmest water you can even if there isn’t much of it. Be prepared to go slow 1.7-1.9. I would run mostly stix on planer lines. Spoons on shallow rigger and shallow diver lines if depth allows

Bright colors will be your friend then 👍👍

When starting out it’s usually best to run a mix of naturals and colors and let the fish decide
