Incredible brown fishing continued today as I anticipated a warm overnight rain and encroaching cold front would have fish snapping. Water temps in 18 mile was 47 degrees, and lake temp in the 41-42 degree range already. Wicked big brown bite today with riggers and size zero dipsy getting blasted. The fish were aggressive hitting the close lines over board lines with numerous aerial displays. Small gold and orange spoons and sticks today. Spoons were chosen 4:1 over sticks. One silver fish lost at the back of the boat but couldn’t tell if it was a steelhead or coho. Bait is present.  I think we will see salmon showing up by next weekend.

Another great report Gill-T ! You finding them east or west of 18 mile? How many FOW?  I'm still a month away from 1st trip. Jealous.

I/O motor? I guess you are putting your boat in above 32 degree storage after using. Lucky you! Thanks for the report.
