Good luck to everyone lucky enough to be out in the morning!

Looking forward to another season.

I have set up some blinds but haven’t scouted as much as usual. My old legs don’t work as well as they use to so walking can be pretty painfulI some days. I did heard a couple gobble this morning and have seen some nice birds on or near the property I hunt. Seems like every year the same locations I’ve hunted for many years still pay off so I actually don’t need to scout but I enjoy the chase.

Got a Jake (that I had passed on) to come for my sister in law yesterday. Today I was rewarded with a 9 3/4 “, 7-8” spur Tom.

had  him on trail cam.

Left camp bright and early 4:00am Sunday morning 5/26/24 and was fortunate to harvest bird #2 calling in 3 Toms right off the roost. Few soft yelps was all that was needed to pull them into 30yds. Also Got to spend some time in the boat with wife and friends on Chaumont Bay to finish off the day 🇺🇲
