We made it up to the lake for the long week-end and the fish were waiting for us. Saturday we went 8/9 with 4 Steelhead, 2 kings, 1 brown and 1 Atlantic. Fish came from 35' down to 100' down from 120' to 250' of water pretty much straight out the chute. NK SS Waddler, MS Tuxedo and Yellow Diehard for spoons, Lemon Ice and White Spin Doctors off the wire dipsies 240' to 300' out on a #2 setting.

Sunday we fished the same waters but the fish were biting very light, we probably missed close to 10 fish but we did box 3, 2 kings and a laker(which is the first laker we've caught in a couple of years). All the same lures run. We did catch the big fish of the week-end which was just shy of the 20 lb. mark.

Monday morning was a quick trip out, we pulled lines by 10:00 to head back home. We went 4/5 with 3 kings and 1 steelhead that was released. Lost the last king at the back of the boat, it got tangled around the probe rigger and the wire dipsy. Needless to say that one took our spoon. All in all a very good week-end. We didn't have this many Kings around last year until August. I hope this means they will be around all year. Hopefully we will make it back up next week-end if not then in 2 weeks for sure.
