Mexico 5/21- 5/25

Fished the 70-120 line off the rocks on thursday with Blue smelt & Bubble stingers firing on the riggers 85 back & down 16'- 40'. Sliders in chartruse Shad patterns were also being taken. we managed 4 for 6 on steelheads, 2Atlantics (one being 12lbs) 2 small browns & 2 15lb Kings. Friday was tougher the temp dropped due to the wind (47deg) on top. We did have a fair day on Small steelies & a couple of Browns. Saturday decided to make a run up north & did Ok on browns 6 for 9. It seemed not one lure took 2 fish Goby patterns & Smithwicks off the boards worked best. On sunday fished off the river & took again 6 browns & jack king. Jessica's Goby , Smokey smithwick, & Electric Shad fired until we called it at 11am. Monday was Barbque & :beer: Day, The fish will have to wait until this weekend! Capt. Randy
