Headed up creek south/southwest toward Waterport dam. Caught many nice rockies, perch and bluegills. Fishing around downed trees with purple bent wire fuzzy jigs, 11 year old Grandsons homemade flies and trout magnets, all tipped with a piece of worm. For real fun try a cane pole to reach into the tangles where you can't cast. For the gar fisherman there are packs of them cruising all the shorelines. Must be spawning. Never saw so many gar. Some I'd estimate pushing 40 inches.
